Trustee meetings, public hearings, pending legislation,

Ocean Beach Directory, sponsor the Chill-Out, and welcom
new homeowners. Our goals and concerns deal with issues
within our community, our Village and Fire Island.”

The Ocean Beach Community Fund ( OBCF ) was founded in 1979
during the administration of Tom Schwartz. It's mission is
to add to the quality of life in Ocean Beach through funding
that could not come from the resident's taxes. The Ocean Beach
Community Fund was set up to further the Cultural, Recreational,
Environmental and Beautification needs of Ocean Beach.

The 2006 Festival was a HUGE success. With a two-story high outdoor movie screen, the festival was literally the biggest thing in Ocean Beach! An audience of over 1000 people enjoyed the many short films, documentaries and feature films showcased at the ballfield and the beautifully restored Community House Theatre. Last summer introduced Wine Tasting to the Golden Wagon Festival, which was a very popular event and featured a selection of Long Island wines.
